Where to Find Sfoglina Denver Products
Posted on February 11 2025,
As a small business without retail space, we realize it can be difficult to find Sfoglina products in Denver and the Front Range. It’s difficult for us as well because we strive to make personal, face to face connections with our community, and farmers market season is the only time we can really do that.
However, in this blog we are going to share the ever growing list of markets, restaurants, and shops where you can consistently find Sfoglina products. We’re also looking forward to moving into our own retail space in Denver this spring where we will be stocked up on fresh pasta, dried pasta, sauces, and more!
Restaurants
-
Mangia Panino: Located on the ground level at Avanti Boulder, Mangia Panino is an Italian deli that specializes in sandwiches, house made focaccia and Sfoglina pasta. My favorites are the carbonara made with Sfoglina bucatini, pasta alla vodka with our rigatoni, and the pesto chicken cutlet sandwich.
-
Osteria Alberico: Modeled after traditional Northern Italian ‘frascas’, Osteria Alberico is a neighborhood eatery and wine bar off South University that prides themselves on creating a communal atmosphere with simple food and drink at a reasonable price. Brought to you by the award winning Frasca Hospitality Group.
-
OAK at Fourteenth: Oak is located in Boulder on 14th and Pearl St. that offers a selection of seasonally rotating dishes and beverages. They specialize in woodfired American food that encapsulates the multitude of cultures in Colorado.
-
Rosetta Hall: Here’s another Pearl St. Boulder gem that offers eight restaurants, two bars, and one cafe that hosts live music and events. You can find Sfoglina pasta at Amalfi, a modern interpretation of classic Italian cuisine.
-
Death and Co: Death and Co started as an intimate cocktail bar in Manhattan, and has now grown to four locations across the country as a notable ‘cocktail institution’. The Denver location has grown into a sprawling restaurant and bar with full service breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Sfoglina mafaldine is featured in their lamb ragu.
-

-

Meal Kit Companies/Online Grocery Stores
-
Pine Melon: Pine Melon makes eating local easy for a change. Their online grocery store sources from over 200 local vendors and producers, including produce, meat, pantry staples, and household items. They are building a local food system that doesn’t rely heavily on imports and brand name products.
-
Spade and Spoon: This is not your average mealkit company. Spade and Spoon is a culinary experience that’s rooted in using local farmers, ranchers, and vendors to celebrate the best of what our region has to offer.
Eat Local, Denver
Eating from local vendors, farmers, and ranchers can be hard because brand names and massive grocery stores can skew your view as a consumer. But what it really comes down to is if you want to or not.
The 2020 Census calculated the Front Range population at over 5 million people. The Denver metro area is home to pretty much any type of food. From farms to ranches to bakeries to international cuisine, it is out there. Yes, it may take a bit more effort to research and find what you like and what’s accessible, but the overarching benefits can heavily outweigh the downsides.
You will get back what you put in. We hope to have made it a bit easier to find our products and to inspire just a few people to put in the effort to support our regional producers.
As always, don’t forget to salt your water.
